Job Description

The Materials Handler I - Warehouse is responsible for receiving, stocking and/or delivering parts to the designated shop area. They will also be responsible for tracking and transferring parts to designated locations using the inventory system. Duties & Responsibilities Verify packing list on all incoming shipments, enter parts and quantity into inventory system and make sure all parts are received into the system by the end of the day Stock parts into correct designated bin locations in the warehouse Pull parts as needed for the shop and field and document all transfers in the inventory system Assist Field Service Technicians and Shop Technicians with parts requests as needed Assist with purchasing as needed Will have call-out rotation responsibilities Other duties as assigned Skills & Competencies Basic mathematical skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn and efficiently utilize other software tools and applications that are beneficial to the position Communicate information effectively with all levels of co-workers, customers and vendors by telephone, written form, email or in person Ability to process shipping and receiving Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Knowledge of stationary gas engines and compressors and their associated components Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED. An additional 4 years of work experience may substitute for the diploma or GED. 1+ years equivalent work experience in material handling or in related field
