Job Description
Leaf Forge is a cutting-edge tobacco processing facility based in Pryor, Oklahoma. With construction completed in 2024, this facility spans 250,000 square feet and is adjacent to its parent company, Xcaliber International. This state-of-the-art processing facility employs advanced manufacturing and processing technologies to transform raw tobacco into the finished product used in cigarette production. With over twenty years of experience in manufacturing, Leaf Forge's parent company, Xcaliber International, has garnered a reputation as being one of the top employers in northeastern Oklahoma. Job Summary The Warehouse Associate will assist in the operations of cigarette manufacturing and packaging process, material handling of raw materials to meet production requirements, and help facilitate efficient production of high-quality tobacco finished goods. Employees are responsible for duties in assigned areas and cross-training for coverage in additional departments. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Assist Production with material requirements for work centers per detailed work instructions. Ensure the proper materials are pulled from the designated stock location, as per scheduled work orders and pick ticket requirements. Inspect packaging of raw material to ensure a high quality is maintained within established quality guidelines. Communicate with other employees and supervision to ensure proper materials are being allocated to the appropriate work centers. Support and maintain an adequate level of raw materials to ensure continuous and efficient production. Ability to work in a team environment, learn new processes, and retain knowledge regarding various duties and department guidelines. Effective oral and written communication skills. Attention to detail, proactivity, and effective follow-through. Flexibility to perform in a fast paced and innovative environment.
