Scaling Technician (Production Bakery)
Location:
Tulsa, OK Pay & Schedule:
$14.00/hour + $1.00 shift differential 1:30 PM - 9:30 PM Monday -
Friday Job Summary :
The Scaling Technician is responsible for accurately weighing and preparing raw ingredients used in production within a fast-paced bakery environment. This role ensures all materials are measured according to batch records and company standards while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace. Attention to detail is key, as this position directly impacts product quality and production efficiency.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferred Minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience Basic math and computer skills Ability to read, write, and understand English Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Ability to work in a team environment Ability to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
Responsibilities:
Weigh and measure raw materials using scales and follow batch record requirements Safely handle materials including bags, boxes, totes, and barrels Document items, weight, and lot numbers accurately in production records Verify product labels and materials for accuracy Prepare and label containers for production use Perform daily cleaning of work areas and maintain organization Calibrate scales and maintain logs to ensure accuracy Follow GMP and safety standards at all
