$18/hr on W2 Description The Warehouse / Logistics Technician is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, picking, packaging, and transporting materials and goods within the warehouse and facility. The role requires accurate inventory management, proper documentation, safe use of material-handling equipment, and adherence to shipping and storage procedures. Job Responsibilities Receive incoming goods and compare materials against shipping documents for material number, description, and quantity. Inspect incoming goods for visible damage and document findings as required. Safely operate transportation equipment, including hand-guided industrial trucks and forklifts. Enter and maintain relevant material and inventory data in computer systems. Coordinate the acceptance, storage, commissioning, and removal of goods within designated storage areas. Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks and inventory activities. Pick and assemble deliveries from designated storage locations. Verify deliveries for completeness and accuracy, including quantities and article numbers. Package outgoing deliveries according to shipping instructions and applicable packaging requirements. Follow appropriate instructions for shipments involving dangerous goods. Prepare and attach required shipping documentation to outgoing goods. Transport materials within and, when applicable, outside the facility using appropriate transportation equipment. Resolve routine and unexpected warehouse issues by applying appropriate procedures and solutions. Required 3-year vocational training plus 3 years of practical experience in a related field. High School Diploma or GED. Basic knowledge of warehouse/logistics principles, procedures, work routines, and related systems. Experience with inventory management and material handling. Ability to use standard computer/software systems for data entry and inventory tracking. Ability to safely operate appropriate material-handling and transportation equipment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow established procedures and solve routine operational issues. Must pass a 10-year background screening . Must pass a 10-panel drug screening . Able to provide 7 years of employment history .
