We are currently seeking a Seed Warehouse Technician to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the efficient processing, handling, storage, and distribution of seed while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational excellence. As a Seed Warehouse Technician, you will support daily warehouse operations and contribute to a safe and productive work environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Clean, mill, and treat seed according to established quality and processing standards
- Verify the accuracy of incoming seed shipments and related documentation. Prepare and load outbound seed shipments for delivery to growers
- Maintain accurate records of seed distribution and warehouse activities
- Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and stock control processes
- Participate in safety audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on seed treating and milling equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse facility Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or agricultural experience preferred
- Forklift experience and the ability to safely operate warehouse equipment are a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team Physical Requirements Regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday
- Work comfortably in warehouse and outdoor environments
- Tolerate exposure to dust, seed treatments, and varying seasonal temperatures
