Job Description

Resource MFG is looking for Quality Inspectors / Bar Processing Material Handlers in
Aliquippa, PA Pay:
$20•25 per hour•depending on experience
Location:
Aliquippa, PA Schedule:
Monday•Friday 7am•3:30pm Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector / Bar Processing Associate to support the production of specialty metals within our bar processing center. This role is responsible for performing intermediate and final product inspections, ensuring all materials meet strict customer specifications and quality requirements, and preparing materials for final shipment. Key Responsibilities Perform precision dimensional inspections using tools such as: 2-point micrometers Calipers Taper measurer Profilometers Tape gauges Verify calibration of inspection equipment prior to use Maintain full traceability of materials (heat number, lot number, piece ID, etc.) Conduct intermediate and final product inspections Perform dye penetrant inspections and spot grinding to remove defects Execute thorough visual inspections for quality and surface defects Accurately document inspection results and maintain records Identify, reject, and report non-conforming materials Perform final inspection and approve products for shipment Return products for rework and document material loss and corrections Operate a fork truck and overhead crane to move materials safely Clean and prepare products for packaging Package materials for shipment (intermediate and final) Maintain a clean, safe work environment Recommend process improvements Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Qualifications:
Experience using inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, surface finish gauges) Experience with hand and power tools Basic math and reading skills Strong attention to detail and observational skills Positive attitude, strong attendance, and willingness to learn Strong communication skills and pride in quality workmanship
Preferred:
Manufacturing experience Experience with AS9100 and/or ISO9001 quality systems Physical Requirements Regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting Lift/move up to 55 lbs regularly Ability to operate cranes, forklifts, and climb ladders Strong visual acuity for detailed inspections Ability to handle tools and equipment consistently #nowhiring #nowhiring
