Job Description

About the Role As a Warehouse Production Specialist, you will play a vital role in the efficient flow of industrial materials, ensuring that our inventory is accurately managed and prepared for distribution. You will utilize your expertise in material handling and equipment operation to maintain high standards of organization and safety, directly impacting our ability to meet customer shipping deadlines. Responsibilities Coordinate the movement of heavy steel products from receiving through to final shipping, ensuring seamless logistics. Optimize storage layouts and designate staging areas to maximize warehouse efficiency and accessibility. Maintain precise inventory records by verifying logs, conducting regular counts, and updating our location database. Prepare materials for outbound shipment by verifying product locations and resolving any logistical discrepancies. Perform essential general labor tasks, including parts cleaning and equipment maintenance, to support daily operations. Document all warehouse activities through accurate reporting and data entry, including the use of Excel spreadsheets. Qualifications Required Skills Proven commitment to maintaining a safe and hazard-free work environment. Strong organizational skills with a focus on inventory control and accuracy. Ability to work collaboratively within a team to achieve distribution goals. Reliable and dependable work ethic with a focus on consistent performance. Preferred Skills Hands-on experience operating overhead cranes or similar industrial machinery. Background in parts cleaning or industrial material preparation. Proficiency in using inventory management software or digital tracking systems.
