Job Description
Immediately Hiring Warehouse Associates in Chambersburg - 3rd Shift! Job Description This role supports efficient warehouse operations by accurately picking, packing, receiving, and organizing merchandise on the 3rd shift. You will use powered material handling equipment, RF scanners, conveyor systems, and sortation walls to move product through the distribution process while maintaining high standards of safety, productivity, and quality. Responsibilities Accurately pick and pack customer orders by following established work practices and warehouse procedures. Restock picking bins with product from reserve storage based on warehouse management system reporting. Sort, count, and receive all incoming merchandise with a high level of accuracy. Move product to and from pallet racks using powered material handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Work with conveyor systems to build pallets of cartons for outbound shipments. Load and unload trucks, including sorting and labeling products as needed. Organize warehouse storage space to maximize efficiency and accessibility. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area at all times. Use an RF scanner or hand scanner to receive work assignments and complete tasks such as picking, packing, receiving, and moving product. Operate sortation walls and conveyor systems to complete daily warehouse tasks. Meet established safety, productivity, and quality standards on a consistent basis. Demonstrate flexibility by performing a variety of general warehouse tasks as assigned. Essential Skills Ability to accurately pick and pack orders following established work practices. Experience or comfort using powered material handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Ability to sort, count, and receive merchandise with strong attention to detail. Capability to load and unload trucks and handle physical aspects of warehouse work. Experience using RF scanners or hand scanners to execute warehouse tasks. Ability to work effectively with conveyor systems and sortation walls. Strong focus on safety, productivity, and quality standards. Flexibility to handle changing daily task assignments and general warehouse duties. Willingness and ability to work 3rd shift hours, Monday through Friday, 9:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous warehouse experience is a plus. Experience with order picking, order selection, and restocking activities is beneficial. Familiarity with distribution or e-commerce environments is an advantage. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based in a distribution warehouse that supports e-commerce operations. The facility is not climate controlled, so temperatures can vary with the seasons, but fans are in place to help with airflow and temperature comfort. You will work on the 3rd shift, Monday through Friday, from 9:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. The environment includes pallet racks, conveyor systems, sortation walls, and the use of RF/hand scanners and powered material handling equipment such as pallet jacks. The role involves standing, walking, lifting, and moving product throughout the shift while maintaining a clean and orderly workspace. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Chambersburg, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
