Job Description

General Warehouse Associate Specialty Resources is a global sourcing and inventory management company for precision components & specialty products. Our domestic and offshore partnered factories allow us to source and supply our customers with quality products at competitive prices. SRI can supply; precision machined components, stampings, bearings, castings & forgings, cold headed & powdered metal parts, electrical components, rubber & plastics, seals, gaskets, springs, sheet metal fabrication and fasteners. The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for a wide range of tasks including packaging, loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting products. Individuals in this position must have the ability to become certified and operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Individually and/or bulk pack parts ranging in size from ¼" to 5' utilizing varied packaging materials
  • Sorting parts, light assemblies and kit packaging
  • Stack cartons/bins on pallets
  • Wrap, strap and/or band pallets
  • Basic warehouse housekeeping (trash, sweeping, dusting)
  • Be able to read and understand pick tickets, packing slips and inventory labels Physical Demands
  • 100% Warehouse hot/cold environment
  • Standing, stooping, climbing, reaching, pushing, pulling
  • Lifting up to 50lbs.
  • Fast paced environment Preferred Education and Background
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Prior experience in warehouse distribution preferred
