Job Description

Weiler Abrasive Group is currently seeking Warehouse employees to join our team! Starting wage based on experience. Night Team Hours Sunday through Thursday 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. We've been leading the Weiler way for four generations, creating value-enhancing solutions for cleaning, grinding, cutting, deburring and finishing. Essential job functions and responsibilities:
Safely operate material handling equipment such as electric pallet lift, forklift, swing reach, order picker and hand pallet jack. Unload overseas containers with and without lift equipment. Operate radio frequency control devices in order to process material through the warehouse management system. Pack product in the appropriate size container reducing head space within a shipping container by cutting down flaps when needed. Maintain a minimum average efficiency to meet job standards. Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to Advisor. Maintain cycle count accuracies at a predetermined level by reporting anything that appears irregular at the inventory level & making necessary adjustments after all possible solutions have been exhausted. Maintain In-House and Shipping Accuracies error rates to be meeting or exceeding at the established rates as it relates producing high quality service to our internal and external customers. Coordinate all shipments as necessary to meet specific customer ship dates through the use of Weiler's or customers' preferred carriers. Utilize computer software and hardware effectively. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows the 6S Cost Reduction through Standardization, Waste Elimination and Housekeeping. Work overtime when needed. Work as a team to support our departmental and corporate goals, to meet our customer expectations. Experience Preferred Desired 6 months to 3 years experience in a Warehouse Environment.
