Full Job Description Primary Purpose:

Safely and efficiently complete customer deliveries, pickups, and inventory transfers while providing reliable communication and supporting daily operations. Ensure materials are delivered accurately, company vehicles are maintained, and customer expectations are met.

Requirements / Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required CDL preferred but not required Non-CDL drivers will operate company delivery van CDL drivers may operate box truck and Freightliner as needed Previous delivery, transportation, or warehouse experience preferred Experience operating commercial vehicles preferred Ability to safely load, unload, and secure materials Ability to assist with loading/unloading based on operational needs Strong attention to detail and accuracy when verifying deliveries Ability to read and confirm invoices, delivery paperwork, and customer information Dependable with strong attendance and time management Ability to work independently and manage daily routes efficiently Comfortable adjusting to changing delivery schedules and priorities Strong communication skills with customers, management, and coworkers Customer-focused and professional when representing the company Problem-solving mindset; able to identify issues and communicate concerns promptly Ability to lift/move materials and perform physical delivery responsibilities Forklift experience preferred Key ResponsibilitiesDeliveries & Customer Service Complete scheduled customer deliveries safely and efficiently Operate assigned company vehicle based on licensing requirements Verify orders before leaving the warehouse Confirm delivered materials match invoices/order paperwork Ensure delivery paperwork is completed and returned accurately Maintain professionalism when interacting with customers Communicate delivery delays, customer concerns, or issues promptly Pickups & Transfers Complete product pickups as assigned Perform inventory/material transfers between Douglasville and Camp Hill locations Verify materials during pickup and transfer processes Ensure transfer paperwork is accurate and complete Loading & Unloading Support Assist with loading vehicles as needed Safely unload deliveries at customer locations Ensure product is properly secured during transportation Identify and report damaged or missing materials Vehicle Responsibility Complete routine vehicle checks before operation Monitor vehicle condition, cleanliness, fuel, and maintenance needs Report vehicle concerns immediately Maintain a clean and organized vehicle Operational Support Assist warehouse operations when delivery schedule allows Provide support with inventory movement or order preparation as needed Help maintain efficient daily workflow

Pay:

$22.00 - $28.00 per hour
