Material Handler Summary :

The Material Handler operates equipment, machinery and/or other assigned tools to move material. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate pallet jack, high-low equipment to move material
• Maintain the accuracy of the WIP inventory, computer data entry, reading and creating labels; must be good with numbers and written English
• Handle material requests and material returns

Physical Requirements:

• Stand, bend, squat, stoop, reach; on your feet walking around the warehouse, moving pallets
• Lifting up to 40 lbs
• Fast paced walking and standing for long hours To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
• Must understand and able to follow basic verbal and written instructions
• Must be able to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels of the organization
• Must have basic computer knowledge
