Job description: Order Selector 1.

Start times of:

5:30 a.m., 6:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. 2. Starting at $22 base rate 3. Paid Weekly!! 4. Potential to make up to $37/hr. with incentives, premiums and differentials!!

Dependable Responsible Hard Working Able to multi-task Safety-conscious What you will do: Perform any shipping and receiving task that may be assigned by supervisor or appropriate designee Complete all documents related to shipping and or receiving tasks assigned Select and palletize grocery, produce, meat, frozen food, and dairy orders for shipment to retail stores accurately Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner Perform pre-operational check of pallet jacks or forklifts according to company policy Follow acceptable sanitation practices; keep work area clean and free of debris Make recommendations for modifications to procedures or processes impacting their workgroup or distribution center that will maximize efficiency, productivity and reduce costs You have these skills: Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem identification/solving skills with the ability to read and write English and demonstrate basic numerical skills Demonstrated dedication to safety, with a history of working well with others and contributing to a team effort Considerable strength and endurance are required to safely and successfully perform these jobs These strength and endurance demands are due to the weight of the merchandise, and the frequency handled Capable of being trained on mechanized material handling equipment You are able to: Reach, stoop, bend, and lift to 100 lbs. occasionally; on average, our case weight is 40 lbs. Meet production standards set by the company Work a variety of work shifts and schedules (including weekends and holidays as scheduled). Stand and walk for long periods Highly motivated self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Ability to wear a headset to support voice selection for all areas of warehouse selection Ability to read and understand written and numeric product identifiers
