Warehouse Attendant

SHERIDANORISKANY NYJOB SUMMARY

Perform warehouse tasks as instructed, including picking and movement of stock, and completing paperwork.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Pull back issue stock as needed to complete orders from designated inventory locationsReceive new back issues into inventory for existing and new customersComplete back issues reduction as requested by the customerAssist in the receiving dock as neededComplete paperwork as it pertains to back issuesDemonstrate a willingness to assist in other areas of the department when workload is lightFollow all required safety procedures such as: PPEs, Ergonomics, etc.

Perform job in a manner that protects the health and safety of all employees.

Assist with housekeeping in the warehouseOther duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GEDComputer literacyMechanical inclinationGood reading comprehensionForklift, clamp truck, and pallet jack certifications required or ability to be obtainedValid driver's license

Desired Skills and Abilities:

Warehouse experience

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

Ability to stand in place for long periods of time.
