Job Description
Position Overview:
A growing distribution and logistics company is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and material handling activities. This individual will play a key role in ensuring products are accurately received, stored, moved, and shipped while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in warehouse and distribution operations. Success in this role will be measured by productivity, accuracy, safety compliance, and overall operational efficiency.Responsibilities Include:
Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments and deliveries Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move inventory throughout the facility Load and unload materials and merchandise from trucks and place them in designated storage areas Pick, pack, verify, and prepare customer orders for shipment Transport products, materials, and inventory to assigned warehouse locations Identify and report damaged goods, inventory shortages, and quality concerns Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment activities Maintain accurate inventory records, shipment documentation, and activity logs Inspect warehouse equipment and report maintenance or repair needs Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and operating guidelines Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment Work collaboratively with warehouse team members to achieve daily operational goals Assist with general warehouse duties and special projects as needed Perform any other duties assigned by managementQualifications:
2+ years of experience in warehouse and distribution operations Proven forklift operating experience required Valid forklift certification preferred Experience with inventory management, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment processes Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Familiarity with warehouse equipment and material handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow safety procedures and operating guidelines Basic computer and inventory system experience preferred Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workdayCompensation & Benefits:
