Description Warehouse worker duties and responsibilities Common duties include: Unloading incoming shipments and checking their paperwork, such as purchase orders
Inspecting shipments for damaged or missing products
Organizing items and storing them in the correct location
Picking and transporting items to fulfill orders
Packing, labeling and documenting items for outgoing shipping
Processing and documenting returns and reshelving items
Entering incoming and outgoing items into warehouse management systems
Operating machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers (cherry pickers) and automated systems
Cleaning and organizing warehouse work areas to support fire safety, such as designating areas for flammable materials
Participating in occasional audits and inventory counts Additional Details
