Job Description
## General Laborer
- Performs manual tasks to assist Maintenance Mechanic with facility or machine maintenance. Prepares coolant for machine shop.
- Performs housekeeping on manufacturing floor according to established schedule. Picks up and disposes of garbage, scrubs aisles and mops down stairwells.
- Inspects forklifts, Van, eyewash stations, and fire extinguishers according to established schedule.
- Collects cardboard and prepares for recycling. Disposes of scrap metal and empties chip barrels.
- Monitors Haz-Waste room and wastewater tank. Disposes expired paint and sealant. Assists Haz-Material vendor in loading material onto truck.
- Administers blood-borne pathegon cleanup.
- Provides assistance to office employees in moving boxes, furniture, supplies, etc.
- Completes local deliveries and pickups to support maintenance repair efforts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- ## Basic Qualifications
- Ability to operate various material movement equipment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's license.
- ## Desired Skills
- General production knowledge and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to obtain forklift operator's permit.
- Ability to wear a respirator for hazardous material room duties.
