SEEKING WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

Position:

Acorn™ is seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Associate for full-time employment .

Who We Are:

Acorn Industrial Products Co. is a manufacturer and distributor of custom casters and wheels.

Role:

Reports to Operations Manager. The Warehouse Associate will focus on ensuring all operations regarding the warehouse are met safely with OSHA requirements.

Expectations/Job Duties:

Ability to receive and ship all incoming and outgoing orders - via UPS, FedEx Ground, truck shipment, etc. Obtain freight rates for both inbound and outbound shipments. Monitoring & understanding inventory of components and complete assemblies. Ability to pick and assemble orders correctly with the supervision of management. Safe operation of Forklift, Reach Truck, and powered Pallet Jack. Assembly of casters and wheels. Help assist run CNC machinery as needed. Eventually, assist purchasing with mins & max counts on stock items. Learn & understand the products being assembled Take ownership of your job & learn the business.

Requirements:

Industrial warehousing experience. Experience with UPS WorldShip, FedEx.com, Bills of Lading/Rate Quotes, etc. Inventory management skills Knowledge of OSHA rules & guidelines. Extremely keen time management skills. Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal. Work well independently and with others. Hyper-focused attention to detail. Associates degree or higher. This is an hourly position with a comprehensive benefits package, including fully paid medical & dental insurance.
