1st Shift General Laborer - Sit down forklift experience required! Job Description The Warehouse Operator plays a hands-on role in receiving materials, handling inventory, storing products correctly, and preparing shipments to ensure accurate and timely delivery to customers. This position supports daily warehouse operations while strictly following all legal and safety procedures and works closely with the Warehouse Team Leader to improve packaging and shipping standards. The role is a full-time position on a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Responsibilities Receive incoming materials accurately and verify quantities and documentation in line with established procedures. Handle, move, and stage finished goods and materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse. Store products in designated locations to maintain organization, traceability, and inventory accuracy. Prepare and package products for shipment according to defined packaging and shipment specifications. Load and unload materials and finished goods using forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required. Operate production and warehouse machinery, including saws and other equipment used in plastics manufacturing, in a safe and efficient manner. Work as part of a team running a production line, treating the line as an individual entity and supporting smooth, continuous operation. Follow all legal, safety, and company compliance procedures while performing warehouse and production activities. Collaborate closely with the Warehouse Team Leader to improve packaging, shipment specifications, and overall warehouse processes. Support the growth of the operation by assisting with new line setup and adapting to new responsibilities as additional lines are introduced. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area, reporting any hazards, incidents, or equipment issues promptly. Perform other warehouse and production duties as assigned to support daily operations and customer requirements. Work Environment The role is based in a manufacturing and warehouse setting with approximately 270 internal employees spread across three buildings. You work as part of a team running a production line, where each line operates as its own unit, fostering close collaboration and shared responsibility. The company is experiencing significant growth and is currently adding a new line to support increased demand, which provides exposure to evolving processes and equipment. The position follows a consistent Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., working on or around machinery, forklifts, and plastic production equipment in an active, fast-paced facility. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kutztown, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $25.00/hr.
