Job Description
Receiving:
Unloading delivery trucks, verifying incoming goods against invoices, noting shortages or damage, and properly storing items.
Shipping:
Picking, packing, and preparing products for shipment , and creating necessary shipping documents like bills of lading.
Inventory management:
Maintaining accurate inventory counts, updating records, and performing regular physical inventory checks.
Quality control:
Inspecting incoming and outgoing products for damage or discrepancies and handling any quality issues that arise.
Equipment operation:
Good driving record in order to drive company vehicles. Using equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move and store goods. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 LB box.
Record keeping:
Using manual or computerized systems to document all shipping and receiving activities. Including Microsoft Office programs.
Skills:
Proficient driving a Forklift. Valid Driver's License Attention To Detail Proficient In Microsoft Programs (Office, Outlook, Xcel, Word, etc.) Excellent verbal and written Communication Skills.
