Job Description

OVERVIEW
The Quality Control (QC) Associate is responsible for performing incoming inspections, in-process checks, and releasing activities for products and components handled within the warehouse. This role directly supports warehouse operations, including picking, packing, labeling, domestic and international shipping workflows to ensure all materials meet Client s quality, regulatory, and documentation requirements before being released for use or shipment. The QC Associate works closely with Warehouse Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance to maintain accurate records, support traceability, and uphold compliance with Client s Quality Management System (QMS), ISO 13485, and applicable regulatory requirements. All team members are expected to work and communicate respectfully with all departments and personnel across clientsite.

Malvern, PA - ONSITE 5days per week
RESPONSIBILITIES
Incoming Inspection & Verification Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of incoming products and components. Verify supplier documentation, certificates of conformance, and labeling accuracy. Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials in accordance with QMS procedures. Record inspection results accurately in inspection logs and ERP systems. Warehouse Integrated QC Activities Support receiving operations by prioritizing inspections based on warehouse workflow. Release accepted materials for put away and ensure proper identification and traceability. Verify picking accuracy, including lot numbers, quantities, and labeling. Perform QC checks on packed orders, ensuring correct components, packaging integrity, and documentation. Confirm labeling accuracy for domestic and international shipments, including carton labels, pallet labels, COO markings, and regulatory symbols. Support international shipping requirements, including verification of export documentation, packing lists, and compliance labeling. Assist with inventory checks, lot verification, and warehouse labeling confirmation. Documentation & QMS Compliance Complete inspection forms, logs, and electronic records accurately and on time. Initiate NCRs for nonconforming materials and communicate findings to the QC Lead. Follow all QMS procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements. Support continuous improvement initiatives within QC and warehouse operations. Cross Functional Support Collaborate with Warehouse, Supply Chain, and Purchasing to resolve discrepancies. Assist in root cause investigations when quality issues arise. Provide feedback to leadership on recurring issues, supplier trends, or process gaps. Support internal and external audits as needed. Authority The QC Associate has authority to: Accept or reject incoming materials based on inspection results. Initiate NCRs and escalate quality issues to the QC Lead. Place materials on hold pending further evaluation. TASKS This role is primarily warehouse based and requires daily coordination with Warehouse Operations. Expected to be familiar with the Quality Policy and contribute improvement ideas to leadership. Cross training may be required to support other QC functions as needed. Ability to read and interpret basic drawings, specifications, and inspection criteria. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including lifting to 50 lbs.
EXPERIENCE 1-3
years of experience in quality control, warehouse operations, or manufacturing preferred. Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred). Familiarity with ISO 13485 or other regulated quality systems. Basic understanding of inspection tools (calipers, gauges, etc.). Experience with picking, packing, labeling, and shipping workflows.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent required.
