Job Description

Overview Wage:
$27.00 an hour This is a full time position at our Home & Garden Distribution Center requiring Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm, and occasional weekends. Stauffers of Kissel Hill is a local and family owned company that valuesteamwork, respect, integrity, commitment, and service.   • Assists the Fleet Manager in keeping assigned road equipment clean and in good running condition.
  • Assists the Fleet Manager with the preventative maintenance program and maintaining driving records, in accordance with DOT regulations.
  • Maintains daily delivery and pick-up schedule set by the General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
  • Operates manual and electrical equipment to transport items to the pick-up area for delivery.
  • Performs general warehouse and property maintenance duties as needed.
  • Reads shipping orders to determine items to be gathered and distributed.
  • Receives, opens, and breaks down newly-received merchandise, sorting it by type, style, color and product code.
  • Relocates material and items from the receiving area to storage or to other designated areas. Qualifications
  • Valid Class A CDL Drivers License.
  • Ability to successfully complete DOT Physical and Drug Test as required according to DOT regulations.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
