Job Description

(Training two months in McElhattan, relocating August 1st to Williamsport) Reporting to the Manager Warehouse or his designee, this position provides for the efficient handling and movement of materials to and from designated areas in the facility as may be required for processing of orders for shipment, to include weighing and preparing documents necessary to route materials via multiple carriers or for postal shipment. Check incoming product against receiving documents to insure correct quality, quantity, and type of material that has been received. Stock materials in appropriate areas and locations by catalog number. Pull proper material to fill customer orders insuring correct quality, quantity, and type is pulled. Maintain and organize orders being held to ship complete to our customers by using our inventory management system and Excel spreadsheets. Pack orders for shipment in appropriate containers to insure product quality and guard against damage. Responsible to perform other duties of equal or lesser classification irrespective of required change in department, hours (including mandatory overtime) or work conditions as directed by supervisor. Responsible for regular, dependable attendance and punctuality. Maintain safe, clean and organized work areas. High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Basic math skills and the ability to use a calculator. Ability to read and understand paperwork. Able to use a PC with some Word and Excel experience. Must be able to work in a production environment that may be subject to varied temperatures and other conditions, such as noise (conveyor) and dust. Must be able to stand/walk for 10 hour shifts and possess the ability to frequently bend and lift 50 lbs. This position is subject to scheduled overtime which may be required based on production needs.
