Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate/Scanner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, accurately scanning and tracking shipments, and supporting overall warehouse operations to ensure timely order fulfillment and safe handling of goods. Duties Operate barcode scanners and RF (radio frequency) devices to track inventory and process shipments with precision. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality control. Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and perform regular counts. Follow safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and manual handling techniques during heavy lifting or materials handling tasks. Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying shipments against documentation. Support warehouse distribution activities organizing materials, and ensuring a clean, safe work environment. Requirements Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory management systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail for barcode scanning, order picking, packing, and quality control tasks. Basic math skills for counting items, measuring quantities, and verifying shipments. Knowledge of safety protocols including PPE use and heavy equipment operation standards. Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects regularly, and perform manual handling tasks throughout the shift.
