Driver - Warehouse Associate

We are currently seeking a Driver Associate with a minimum of 3 years of experience operating box trucks or work trucks. The role involves transporting materials and equipment for our services, as well as performing general warehouse duties. At Oliver Heating & Cooling, our greatest asset is our people. Driving and Delivery:

Safely operate company vehicles, Box and Stake body Trucks, also include forklifts or other warehouse equipment, to move goods within the warehouse or to other locations. Load and unload trucks or other vehicles with materials. Ensure goods are properly secured during transport. Follow assigned routes and schedules, adhering to traffic laws and company safety procedures. Use of GPS/Navigation software Perform routine/daily maintenance inspections (oil checks, tire pressure/wear, etc., and report status) Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups Develop-build relationships with vendors/suppliers Operate; forklifts, pallet jacks, hand-trucks and other loading equipment

Warehouse Operations:

Assist with loading, unloading, and staging of goods and materials. Help maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Identify and report any inventory discrepancies or damage. Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as packing, unpacking, and inventory management.

Other Duties:

Follow all safety regulations and procedures. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and other departments. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries. Report any incidents/occurrences with vehicle/property/injury/safety etc. May be responsible for creating shipping labels or managing inventory tracking Ability to identify and mitigate safety risks on the road and in the warehouse Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including safe driving practices, proper lifting techniques and use of Personal Protective Equipment.

Requirements:

Valid Drivers License and clean driving record Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening and background check Follow traffic all traffic laws Excellent communication skills Ability to lift 50lbs (using proper lifting techniques) Strong time management and customer service skills Understanding of hazard awareness and other accident protocols Computer Software skills (Outlook-Email/Electronic logging systems/ Microsoft Office-general knowledge, Mobile Apps, GPS) Work in a team environment H.S. Diploma or equivalent Forklift a plus but not required During busy seasons, weekend availability is required.

Physical Demands:

This position requires a range of physical abilities consisting of: Bending at the waist, kneeling or crouching, squatting, crawling; heights, ascend/descend ladder, climb or balance, confined spaces. Eyesight corrected or uncorrected sufficient to drive and read a variety of materials including but not limited to fine print. Hearing with or without use of hearing aid(s) sufficient to hear any conversation with others; understandable voice and speech patterns. Manual dexterity and coordination sufficient to operate tools and equipment of the trade. Driving for prolong periods of time. Sitting, standing and/or walking for extended periods of time. Use hands to handle and/or feel; reach with hands and arms. Must occasionally lift, push, pull or carry up to fifty (50) pounds.
