A Day in theLife:
- Process customer orders daily to meet customer expectations
- Work in one or more warehouse process paths, including receiving, picking, packing, or shipping
- Package and label shipments according to standard operating procedures and complete documentation requirements for hazardous materials
- Help ensure inventory is stored properly and accurately
- Collaborate with your team to create a positive and productive work environment
- Support Thermo Fisher Scientific's mission by ensuring critical products reach customers safely and efficiently Keys to
Success:
Education- High school diploma or equivalent required Experience
- General warehouse experience preferred
- Experience handling hazardous materials (chemicals) is a plus
- Experience with computers and scanning equipment preferred
- Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers) preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Desire to work as part of a team while also being able to work independently
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt quickly
- Ability to read and write in English
- Dependable, hard-working, and customer-focused mindset Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- Ability to stand and move about the warehouse for significant periods of time, including walking, stooping, bending, and reaching
- Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 lbs
