Life:
  • Process customer orders daily to meet customer expectations
  • Work in one or more warehouse process paths, including receiving, picking, packing, or shipping
  • Package and label shipments according to standard operating procedures and complete documentation requirements for hazardous materials
  • Help ensure inventory is stored properly and accurately
  • Collaborate with your team to create a positive and productive work environment
  • Support Thermo Fisher Scientific's mission by ensuring critical products reach customers safely and efficiently Keys to
Success:
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required Experience
  • General warehouse experience preferred
  • Experience handling hazardous materials (chemicals) is a plus
  • Experience with computers and scanning equipment preferred
  • Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers) preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Desire to work as part of a team while also being able to work independently
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt quickly
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Dependable, hard-working, and customer-focused mindset Physical Requirements / Work Environment
  • Ability to stand and move about the warehouse for significant periods of time, including walking, stooping, bending, and reaching
  • Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 lbs
