Job Description

THE POSITION IN A NUTSHELL
Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a qualified Warehouse Associate. This position will work closely with our Warehouse Manager to ensure on-time delivery of parts to job site locations, while keeping our warehouse inventory up to date and organized. The ideal candidate will have great communication and organizational skills. This is a key position for our growing team, which requires attention to detail in all aspects of assisting with parts delivery to ensure timely completion of projects.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
(and doing well!) Process incoming shipments of materials and validate received items against purchase documents and record in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Process outgoing shipments of materials to customers, including packing and shipping documents. Manage inventory movements and ensure all inventory is stored properly in assigned location. Perform monthly cycle counts. Pick and load parts requested, and record inventory assignments. Unload parts requested and return to stock, and record in the ERP system. Prepare outgoing packages, including packing and shipping label. General housekeeping of warehouse, as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by Controller, Operations Manager, or General Manager. Deliver materials to job site, if requested by supervisor.
WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT YOU
Two years of experience in warehouse environment. Valid driver's license. Excellent driving record. Excellent organization and communication skills. Strong technology skills, including using common ERP systems for Warehousing, MS Office. Ability to handle heavy equipment (i.e., forklift) to process incoming or outgoing shipments. Two years of experience driving and delivering inventory (large truck/dual rear wheel vehicle) preferred. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards. Forklift certification preferred.
