The Material Handler - Inventory & Production Support performs physical tasks involved in order fulfillment, inventory movement, and material support within the Chattanooga Distribution Center. This role supports receiving, centralized inventory control, internal production supply, and outbound shipping functions. This is an entry-level position requiring prior warehouse or manufacturing experience and a demonstrated commitment to accuracy, reliability, and adherence to established processes. Your Impact Read pick tickets to determine item location and quantity. Accurately pick and pack materials to prevent damage and ensure order accuracy. Receive and verify inbound materials for count and condition. Maintain inventory accuracy through proper marking and documentation. Support material movement to internal production departments. Follow established warehouse processes and safety procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Perform other related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 1-5 years of prior warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing experience required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Demonstrated reliability and consistent attendance. Ability to work with urgency in a structured, process-driven environment. Ability to follow established procedures while maintaining productivity. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic familiarity with inventory control or material movement processes required. Additional Success Factors Walking and standing during working hours. Safe use of industrial ladders. Ability to lift to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
