Full Job Description Job Summary:
As a Shipping/Warehouse Associate at our school, you will play a vital support role in the district's operations. You will be responsible for the accurate and efficient receiving, storage, and distribution of educational materials, technology equipment, textbooks, facility supplies, and other critical items that support our students, teachers, and staff.
Responsibilities:
Receiving & Inspection:
Verify incoming orders against purchase orders and packing slips to ensure accuracy and quality. Document and report any damages, shortages, or discrepancies to the purchasing department promptly. Process and file all receiving documentation according to school procedures.
Order Fulfillment & Distribution:
Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments, including returns to vendors, transfers between campuses, and materials for school events. Deliver supplies, equipment, and furniture to classrooms, administrative offices, and various departments across campus in a timely manner. Maintain a delivery schedule and prioritize urgent requests from staff and faculty.
Inventory Management:
Perform regular cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory audits to maintain accurate records. Monitor inventory levels of basic supplies and alert supervisors when reordering is necessary.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills for order processing. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Pay:
$21.79 - $25.76 per hour
