Job Description

Global Wind Service is a leading international provider of turbine installation, service, and maintenance solutions. We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support warehouse operations by ensuring our teams receive the correct tools and personal protective equipment (PPE) on time. Reporting to the US Warehouse Manager, you will be part of the Warehouse team responsible for coordinating the delivery of tooling and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to projects across the United States and internationally. The role supports safe and efficient warehouse operations from our Carrollton, Texas warehouse (near Belt Line Rd). Responsibilities include fulfilling project orders, coordinating incoming and outgoing equipment based on information from Project teams, performing PPE inspections, updating digital tracking systems, supporting the online Workwear Portal and other administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and conduct warehouse and project PPE inspections and update digital inspection and maintenance logs.
  • Communicate verbally and through email with Warehouse and Project teams regarding orders, PPE, and tooling or equipment.
  • Track tools and equipment in the online inventory system, including missing or serviced items.
  • Prepare equipment overviews for Warehouse and Project teams.
  • Support verbal and written workwear requests through the online Workwear Portal.
  • Manually prepare, issue, and receive tools and equipment for projects, service, disposal, or other warehouse needs.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments from sites, vendors, and service providers, including updating counts, service logs, and equipment locations in online systems.
  • Housekeeping of warehouse and Office. Required Qualifications
  • 6+ months of warehouse experience.
  • Experience with Personal Fall Protection Equipment (PFPE) or PPE inspection.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office and proficiency with technology such as computers, cell phones, and tablets.
  • Strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • English fluency with strong verbal, written, and reading skills.
  • Valid Driver's License and Passport, with ability to travel domestically and internationally.

  • Must be able to work efficiently and independently.
  • Frequent communication and exchange of information with employees and other work related parties.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders and move around the warehouse or office up to 60% of the time.
  • Ability to operate hand carts, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse machinery or tools.
  • Regular use of computers and other office equipment, requiring viewing a computer screen at least 40% of the workday while sitting or standing, depending on the task.
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Travel up to 20% of the time, with the ability to travel domestically or internationally on short notice.
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Carrollton, Texas. The role follows a Monday-Friday schedule, with occasional overtime and weekend work based on warehouse needs.
