Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Package Handler, where your energy and organizational skills will keep our distribution operations running smoothly! In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling packages, loading and unloading shipments, and ensuring accurate storage and distribution. Your proactive approach will help maintain a safe, organized, and productive environment, supporting our commitment to timely delivery and exceptional service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your warehouse experience while contributing to a fast-paced logistics operation. Duties Load and unload packages using forklifts and RF scanners to ensure accurate tracking and handling of shipments Organize inventory within the warehouse through effective filing and storage techniques Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts, to move heavy items efficiently Prepare packages for shipping by boxing, labeling, and verifying contents against orders Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels and organization Support warehouse distribution efforts by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace Requirements Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on a daily basis Experience with RF scanners or similar inventory tracking devices is a plus Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one upon hire Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in filing and inventory management Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures is advantageous Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with physical stamina and reliability This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build their career in logistics!
