Warehouse Worker and Tent Installer

Specialty Rents is seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to join our team as Warehouse Workers and Tent Installers. In this role, you will assist with the preparation, loading, installation, and breakdown of event rental equipment, including large commercial tents and related inventory. You will learn or may already have the skills to perform the following tasks: Operate 16' & 26' Box Trucks in a safe and professional manner. Assemble tenting in all size ranges. Install electric devices in the tents, this ranges from heaters to fans and lighting.

Operate equipment such as:

forklifts, roto-hammers, scissor lifts, and pallet jacks. Professionally represent the company to customers at job sites. Work as a team, to overcome obstacles and troubleshoot problems effectively/efficiently. Perform minor maintenance and repairs, as well as engineer solutions to a wide variety of structures and rental equipment. Lead teams and ensure the integrity of installs. Here at Specialty Rents, we service the attire northwest area with tenting and a great variety of other rental items. We provide equipment for everything from backyard weddings to corporate events and elite venues. With our warehouse located in Longview, WA we are in a prime location to efficiently deliver and pickup our equipment throughout the northwest. We are a family owned, multi-generational business and are looking for the right people to join our successful team. Qualifications we are looking for, include: Delivery Driver Experience Ability to safely lift 75lbs Weekend availability with flexible schedule Self-motivated individuals that require little to no supervision Customer service experience Job site or construction experience in the assembly of structures and equipment Ability to reach, bend squat and push with repetition If you are an experience professional driver with or without roots in the rental industry, we welcome your application.
