FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
Concordia Fibers, a world class converter of synthetic yarns and carbon fiber for use in high end textile applications and advanced composites, is looking for to join our technical support team to support challenging new business opportunities within our composite fibers business. Concordia Fibers, founded in 1920 as a manufacturer of silk yarns, has re-engineered its textile capabilities over the past 105 years to expand into synthetic yarns and yarns for advanced composites in the aerospace, automotive, filtration media, power transmission belts, and many other industries. We have developed new proprietary fiber processes to support the growing requirement for weight-saving carbon and glass composites in numerous market segments.
POSITION SUMMARY
Performs all tasks involved with the inspection and packing of all finished goods to the customers.

Essential Functions Statement(s) Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers. Obtain, move, and sort products, materials, containers, and orders. Identify each lot of finished yarn with proper paperwork. Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met and that work instructions were followed during processing. Pack each finished package according to paperwork instructions. Load and package finished product using processing equipment such as a Wrap Machine. Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure packing is efficient and safe as possible. Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them in the non-conforming area after confirming their non-conformance with Quality. Appropriately mark and label containers and container tags for identification purposes. Work in conjunction with Shipper/Receiver and turn over completed boxes with all paperwork finalized. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education :
High School Graduation or GED preferred.
Experience :
