Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in a fast-paced small distribution center environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with materials handling, inventory control, and operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks.Duties:
- Efficiently and safely operate forklifts & reach trucks, to move materials within the warehouse. Loading & offloading trucks and ocean containers.
- Perform stock replenishment and assist with inventory control tasks.
- Packaging & palletizing customer orders and prepare for shipping.
- Adhere to OSHA standards and guidelines for warehouse operations.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Skills:
- Proficiency in materials handling techniques
- Experience with inventory control procedures
- Ability to operate forklifts and reach trucks
- Able to follow instructions and retain what is learned
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations for warehouse safety
