Job Description
The Impact You'll Make We have an immediate opening for a 3rd Shift Material Handler to join our inclusive team in Easley, SC. A Material Handler manages the movement, storage, and control of materials and products within our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include pulling stock, staging orders, and facilitating material movement between production and warehouse areas. The Material Coordinator works closely with production assembly operators to ensure the correct supplier parts are available and adequate for each production order. What You'll Be Doing Obtain and maintain valid forklift operation certifications and conduct daily safety inspections.
Carry out daily replenishment route inspections of floor stock items, prioritizing assembly cells when indicated by signals. Ensure timely and accurate updates of material information in the SAP system. Communicate current or anticipated part shortages to the Department Facilitator and Supply Chain Specialist. What We're Looking For A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent from a technical school, or at least three months of relevant experience with Danfoss products. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. Proficient in quality and problem-solving tools such as PPAP, capability studies, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, 4-Step, 8D, and Fishbone analysis. Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy items (often 50+ lbs) and stand for long periods. Prior experience in manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse settings is highly preferred.
