Requirements of Material Handler High School Diploma or GED Equivalent At least 6 months of prior warehouse experience Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively Must be able to stand, bend, squat for long hours Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English language effectively Basic Warehouse Management System experience is preferred Must be able to work in a team-based warehouse environment Must be able to understand and respond to various notifications, both visual and audible, unless otherwise stated by the client Benefits for HTI Material Handler Paid Time Off Temp to Hire Position Health Insurance Dental Insurance Competitive pay rates Responsibilities of Material Handler Identifies and transports requested materials to and from various locations including machines, loading docks, trucks, and storage areas Manual movement of case, boxes, cartons from point a to point b May assemble and tape boxes, label cartons, build pallets and handle recyclable materials Folds, tags, attached size straps, bags, and applies hangers to apparel Repackages to meet customer demands and scans department inventory in/out Applies understanding of machine loading capacity and loading schedule, ensuring prompt delivery of required items.
