Material Handler 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars 198 Park Dr, Simpsonville, SC 29681 $17 an hour BridgeWorks Co 2 reviews $17 an hour 1st shift Mon-Friday, 5:30 AM - 5:30 PM; some half shifts on Saturdays Responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials, parts, and finished goods throughout the warehouse or production facility. Ensures accurate inventory control and timely delivery of materials to support production and shipping schedules. Key Responsibilities Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other equipment Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment according to work orders or pick lists Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities against packing slips/purchase orders, and inspect for damage Accurately label, sort, and store materials in designated locations Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) or manual logs Conduct regular cycle counts and report discrepancies Transport materials between departments or workstations to support production flow Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance issues Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and PPE use Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Prior warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience a plus Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (and up to 75 lbs occasionally) Basic math and reading skills for order accuracy Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing/walking for extended periods Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, depending on facility needs Work Environment Warehouse or production floor setting; may include exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and machinery. Physical role requiring frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
