Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and distribution of materials within the warehouse environment. Your expertise in operating various heavy equipment and handling materials safely will ensure smooth warehouse operations and support our commitment to safety and productivity. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse experience, excellent manual handling skills, and a proactive approach to inventory management. Duties Safely load, unload, and transport materials using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes while adhering to safety protocols. Perform order picking and packing tasks accurately using RF scanners to ensure correct shipments. Manage inventory levels through regular stock counts and proper documentation to maintain accurate records. Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying incoming shipments and preparing outgoing orders. Operate heavy equipment responsibly for materials handling, including load & unload activities with cranes or other machinery. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency. Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies during all warehouse operations. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles. Hands-on experience operating forklifts, clamp trucks, crane equipment, and other material handling machinery. Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely. Basic math skills for inventory counting and measurement tasks. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, safety protocols, including OSHA regulations. Prior experience in warehouse supervisor roles or overseeing warehouse activities is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking and shipping processes. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards. Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
