Job Summary:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for storing, moving, and handling products and materials, as well as working in our finished goods department. Warehouse Associates work in a structured work environment to minimize safety risks. Warehouse Associates will need to be reliable and able to work with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) at all times. Must have sit-down forklift experience to be considered for this position.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Physically and systemically receive finished good product from Palletizers and efficiently move them to warehouse storage areas or outbound trailers. Assist with hold and re-work process. Ability to follow all company procedures regarding safety, quality, and job work instructions. Ability to safely and efficiently operate forklift. General housekeeping, cleaning and other tasks as assigned by supervisor and foreperson. Operate robots and troubleshoot robots. Change pallet patterns. General housekeeping, cleaning and other tasks as assigned by supervisor and foreperson. Physically and systemically move raw and packaging materials efficiently to and from the warehouse to the production floor. Remove all scrap modules and pallets from the floor. Ability to follow all company procedures regarding safety, quality, and job work instructions. Ability to safely and efficiently operate forklift. General housekeeping, cleaning and other tasks as assigned by supervisor and foreperson.
Job Qualifications & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Must be 18 years of age. Previous Material Handling experience a plus, varies by location.
Work Environment:
This is a manufacturing environment and there will be an exposure to a variety of machines, noise levels, and varying temperatures. This is a team environment; Material Handlers must be able to work together and communicate in a respectful and professional manner. Must be able to work necessary overtime based on staffing needs and customer demand, as well as across shifts.
Physical Requirements:
Reaching with hands/arms throughout the day. Ability to lift up to 90lbs assisted and 40lbs unassisted. Ability to stand up to 80% of the time scheduled. Ability to walk, climb and/or balance throughout shift. Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position.
