The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to receiving, storing, and distributing products. This person in this position must be able to work independently and as part of a team, possess strong organizational and communication skills, be able to meet tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy, and demonstrate a high commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities Receive, unload, and stock products. Verify accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments and inspect products for damages or defects. Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Communicate any discrepancies or damaged products to department management. Safely operate warehouse equipment, as trained, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Participate in keeping the warehouse clean and organized. Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times. Work independently, yet as a collaborative team member. Take ownership of responsibilities and strive for continuous improvement. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Solid work history. Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred. Ability to operate warehouse equipment. Excellent organizational and verbal communication skills. Ability to work productively both independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Basic computer skills preferred. Ability to learn and use new software programs. Familiarity with an ERP or related software beneficial. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move heavy objects (30 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs on occasion). Ability to work in a climate-controlled warehouse environment. Ability to stand, move, squat, reach and climb for up to 8 hours at a time.
