College Grove, TN Job Summary Emogene & Co. is seeking a reliable and versatile Warehouse and Cosmetic Production Associate to support both our product creation and fulfillment operations. In this role, you will play an integral part in crafting our high-quality skincare products, including soaps and serums, and ensuring that customer orders are accurately packed and shipped. This position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a passion for delivering excellent products and service. Key Responsibilities Production Duties Assist in the production of soaps and other skincare products, following company recipes and quality standards. Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients with precision to maintain product consistency. Operate and maintain production equipment safely and efficiently. Monitor product quality throughout the production process and address any issues.
Warehouse Operations Order Fulfillment:
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipping with accuracy and care. Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
Product Packaging:
Assemble and package products to meet brand and quality standards.
Shipping Coordination:
Label packages, prepare shipping documentation, and ensure timely carrier handoff.
Inventory Management:
Organize and maintain inventory, restocking supplies as needed, and reporting inventory levels.
Warehouse Maintenance:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to company policies.
Daily/Monthly duties:
Follow all end of day/end of month close of business duties outlined on associated checklists Punctual and reliable arrival to work on time Qualifications Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities. Basic organizational and time management skills. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that require standing, bending, and repetitive motion. Previous experience in soap making, production, crafting, or warehouse operations is a plus but not required. Create innovative formulas for personal care, skincare, and cosmetic products. Conduct hands-on formulation, ensuring alignment with manufacturing capabilities. Perform calculations and assessments to scale formulas from laboratory to manufacturing levels. Assist in process development, troubleshooting, and compounding, including performing pilot batches for new products. Troubleshoot formulation issues, ensuring high-quality outcomes. Follow all end of day/end of month close of business duties outlined on associated checklists Maintain appropriate non-sterile compounding techniques and cleaning processes Generate required documentation, including Master Formulas, Bulk Material Specifications, Ingredient Declarations, and other registration-related documents. Design technical approaches for projects, establish milestones, and independently drive projects to completion. Provide written instructions for batch adjustments as needed. Work in a safe, clean, and organized manner within the laboratory. Technical Skills Required In-depth knowledge of personal care formulas, stability testing, microbial/challenge testing, and analytical methods. Understanding of packaging compatibility and its relationship to product performance. Functional knowledge of common processing equipment. Ability to interpret data and create formula specifications for Operations and Quality teams. Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and raw material/formula safety evaluations. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills. Experience Required Pharmacy technician experience highly valued, but not required. Previous experience in formulation for consumer products and cosmetics is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for long periods and perform tasks requiring bending, squatting, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to discern color differences. Must work and function safely in a non-sterile compounding environment.
