Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate and become a vital part of our fast-paced logistics operation! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of inventory, managing shipping and receiving processes, and maintaining accurate stock levels. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers while supporting efficient warehouse operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in inventory management, shipping logistics, and warehouse technology systems. Duties Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using RF scanners and pallet jacks to ensure accuracy and quality. Precisely cut and bundle or spool customer's desired wire order. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, utilizing order picker equipment and inventory management software. Load outbound shipments onto trucks safely and efficiently, coordinating with freight carriers to meet delivery schedules. Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry in warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as AS400 or MRPs. Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and audits to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with trade regulations. Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners while adhering to safety protocols. Assist in packaging products securely for shipping, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock storage areas, stocking shelves, and preparing items for order fulfillment. Collaborate with team members on order picking & packing tasks to meet customer delivery deadlines efficiently. Ensure all shipping & receiving procedures are followed accurately to maintain high standards of customer service. Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRPs is highly desirable. Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts (certification preferred), pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers safely. Strong basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for data entry and reporting purposes. Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail for inventory accuracy and order fulfillment. Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment and support customer service initiatives. Knowledge of shipping logistics, international trade regulations, trade compliance standards, and e-commerce fulfillment processes is a plus.
