General Laborer

Overview We are seeking dedicated General Laborers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. As a General Laborer, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and packaging of products, ensuring that they meet quality standards and are delivered on time.

Responsibilities:

Operate various machines to assemble and package components efficiently. Package products according to specifications, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Work on the packaging line, collaborating with team members to meet production goals. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct regular visual checks and measurements of finished products to identify defects or inconsistencies. Load pallets with finished and packaged products by hand and move completed pallets using a pallet jack. Perform routine cleaning of machinery to prevent downtime. Rotate through different stations on the packaging floor to maintain flexibility and support various departments as needed. Actively identify and report potential safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately. Consistently wear and maintain required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Capacity to stand for long periods and perform repetitive movements, including lifting up to 50 lbs consistently.

Skills/Qualifications/Requirements:

Experience in a factory or manufacturing facility setting. Proficient in using boxing and taping tools for assembly tasks. Familiarity with warehouse operations and assembly line processes. Proven ability to manage pace and meet hourly production quotas without sacrificing quality. Ability to follow complex verbal instructions and ask clarifying questions to ensure tasks are done right the first time. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control. Fast and flexible learner Flexibility to handle last-minute changes based on customer demand Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
