Reach/SDFL/EPJ/ General Labor - Shipping & Receiving Associate Position Summary We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our warehouse team. This role is a hybrid position that requires a mix of skilled equipment operation and physical manual labor. You will be responsible for the accurate movement of goods, from unloading inbound shipments to picking and loading outbound orders. The ideal candidate is a "pro" on the floor who can switch seamlessly between operating a Reach Truck and jumping into General Labor tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities Equipment Operation:

Safely and efficiently operate Reach Trucks , Sit-Down Forklifts (SDFL) , and Electric Pallet Jacks (EPJ) to move, stack, and retrieve products.

Inbound/Outbound Logistics:

Load and unload trailers using both equipment and manual lifting techniques.

Order Fulfillment:

Use an RF scanner to pick orders, verify part numbers, and prepare items for shipment.

General Labor:

Perform physical tasks including manual palletizing, shrink-wrapping, labeling, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Inventory Control:

Conduct cycle counts and report any discrepancies or damaged goods to management immediately.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all OSHA standards and internal safety protocols to ensure a zero-incident environment. Required Skills & Qualifications Category Requirements Experience Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center. Equipment Proven proficiency in Reach Truck , SDFL , and EPJ (Certification preferred). Physical Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently and stand/walk for 8-10 hours. Tech Literacy Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanners. Soft Skills Strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Work Environment Pace:

High-volume, time-sensitive environment.

Conditions:

Warehouse may be subject to temperature fluctuations (heat/cold) depending on the season.

Expectations:

A "can-do" attitude where no task is too small—whether you're high-reaching in the aisles or sweeping the dock.

Compensation / Pay

Rate (Up to): $18.00 - $18.00 Per Hour
