Job Description

Loader - Austin Industrial (Bishop, TX) Job Summary Austin Industrial, Inc. is currently seeking a Loader to be based in Bishop, TX. This position is responsible for safely loading, unloading, and moving materials within an industrial facility while supporting daily operations. The Loader will work closely with operations and shipping teams to ensure materials are handled efficiently, safely, and in compliance with site requirements. [Creating_a...Industrial | Word] (https://austinind-my.sharepoint.com/personal/ccontreras_austin-ind_com/_layouts/15/Doc.aspx?sourcedoc=%7B4083170B-5031-42DC-9D66-7B104100E82B%7D&file=Creating_an_Opportunity_in_UKG_Austin_Industrial.docx∾tion=default&mobileredirect=true&DefaultItemOpen=1) Key Responsibilities Perform all work in a safe manner following site safety requirements and using appropriate PPE Load and unload materials from trucks, railcars, and/or storage areas Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, loaders, or similar equipment as required Transport materials within the facility to designated areas Inspect loads to ensure accuracy, quality, and proper securement prior to shipment Assist with staging materials for outgoing shipments Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs or safety concerns Support inventory tracking and basic documentation as needed Communicate effectively with supervisors, operators, and shipping personnel Assist with general labor tasks and other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in material handling, industrial, or warehouse environment preferred Experience operating forklifts or heavy equipment is a plus Ability to work safely in an industrial environment Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team Strong work ethic and reliability Work Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor (standing, walking, bending, climbing) Ability to work in outdoor and plant environments, including varying weather conditions Must be able to work required schedules, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed Education Required High School or better Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
