Full Job Description Job Summary:
Responsible for transporting parts, cabinets, and components throughout the factory on a conveyer or pallets. This position offers 20-25 hours per week Monday through Thursday. The shift would take place from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, starting at $20.00/hour (or more for experienced applicants).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Moving parts, pieces, and/or cabinets from one area to another. Good attendance and punctuality are necessary for scheduled days. Load or offload parts and pieces from an automated line. Keep a safe workplace by housekeeping and keeping an organized work area. Use assistive lifting and transporting devices to prevent injuries to self and others. Reads labels and part lists to accurately sort and organize cabinet parts.
Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Essential Functions of the
Job:
Stand and walk up to 4-6 hours per day on concrete surfaces while loading and stacking cabinets in the factory. Physically carry and transport items long distances up to 4-6 hours a day. Must be able to lift, carry, and transport materials which range in accordance with the requirements listed in the matrices below, repetitively for up to 4-6 hours a day. Frequently bend, stoop, reach grasps, twist, push, and pull items which range in accordance with the requirements listed in the matrices below. Must be able to communicate effectively with management and coworkers by phone or in-person. Must be mentally altered and capable of remembering oral instructions and routine tasks. Must be able to withstand fluctuations in temperature and environmental fluctuations. Must be able to work the required daily and weekly work hours as determined by the schedule. Good attendance and punctuality are necessary. Must exemplify through appearance and behavior the company's image of excellence. Must be alert and able to identify and respond to a hazard by either reporting it immediately, or by taking corrective measures if directed. II.
