Overview I need a physically hardworking person to join us at a very busy poultry farm. I need someone that is able to work in any type of weather and able to lift 50 lbs. Duties and Skills Cleaning poultry cages, coops, and pens, taking out trash, unloading and organizing 50# bags of feed and bales of hay. Handling dogs, mama cats, ferals, kittens, and puppies. Training dogs, washing dogs, washing chickens. Cleaning dog and cat cages, nest boxes, brooders, and incubators. Collecting, marking, logging, and organizing hatching eggs. Handling baby chicks, temperature control. Dusting equipment, washing poultry feeders and waterers. Operate basic hand tools to make minor repairs as needed. Assist in the catching animals and seeing to their safety. Sales of live poultry, feed, milk, eggs, general feed store items. Work independently and follow a written list or an app list, and remember at least three verbal commands.
