Job Title:
Warehouse Associate Job Description This temporary Warehouse Associate role focuses on supporting a high-volume production rework project by safely handling, opening, and transferring bagged materials into supersacks. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, performing repetitive lifting and material handling tasks while maintaining accuracy and adherence to safety procedures. Responsibilities Open and empty bags of material into supersacks according to established procedures. Lift and handle bags weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift. Process a large volume of units (approximately 10,000 bags) as part of a production rework project. Maintain accurate handling of materials to ensure correct product flow and prevent contamination or loss. Support general warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, loading, and packaging as needed. Follow inventory control procedures and help maintain organized storage areas. Adhere to all safety guidelines and use proper lifting techniques to minimize risk of injury. Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards throughout the shift. Communicate any issues, shortages, or safety concerns to the appropriate team members in a timely manner. Essential Skills Previous general production experience. Previous warehouse experience. Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly for the duration of the shift. Experience with inventory, picking, packing, and general labor tasks. Experience with packaging and loading in a warehouse or production environment. Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures accurately. Reliability and strong work ethic in a fast-paced, physically demanding role. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with inventory control processes. Comfort working on repetitive tasks over extended periods. Strong attention to detail when handling and transferring materials. Ability to work effectively as part of a warehouse or production team. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a warehouse environment without air conditioning, where temperatures may fluctuate depending on the weather. The standard schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with work focused on physical, hands-on tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials. The environment is fast-paced and production-oriented, with frequent standing, walking, bending, and repetitive motions throughout the shift. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Channelview, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.56 - $18.56/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
