Night Shift/Weekend Shift Material Handler The Materials Handler supports rotational molding production by safely receiving, preparing, handling, and delivering raw materials, pigments, and finished goods throughout the facility. This role ensures materials are available when needed, properly stored, and accurately tracked to maintain efficient and high-quality manufacturing operations. About Axle Box Innovations

Description Shifts Available Second Shift:
Monday through Thursday 3pm to 1am
Third Shift:
Friday through Sunday 5a-5p
Fourth Shift:
Friday through Sunday 5p-5a Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and store raw materials including polyethylene resins, powders, pigments, and additives
Accurately weigh, stage, and deliver materials to production areas according to job specifications
Maintain proper material identification, labeling, and lot traceability
Return unused materials to inventory and ensure proper storage and cleanliness
Support color changes and material changeovers by cleaning bins, containers, and equipment
Assist with inventory counts, material usage tracking, and restocking
Dispose of waste materials in accordance with company and environmental guidelines
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and material handling requirements
Collaborate with production, quality, and warehouse teams to meet production schedules
Sweep and clean production floors, work areas, and walkways
Remove scrap, waste, and debris from production and staging areas
Empty trash and recycling containers and transport materials to designated areas
Maintain cleanliness around rotational molding machines, ovens, and material handling areas
Support production teams with basic shop tasks as needed Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent
Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or materials handling experience preferred
Basic math skills for weighing and measuring materials
Ability to read work orders and follow written instructions Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with dust, noise, and temperature variation Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and organization
